What happens when you give up your phone?

Only good things! Research shows that going phone-free has numerous health benefits.

Explore The World Offline

Put down your phone for just one day. Engage with real moments—laughter that echoes, skies that shift, hands that touch. No filters, no algorithms—just life, real and unedited.

“It’s not the screen that’s addictive—it’s the apps hijacking your attention. Delete the bait.”

Addicted? Its not your fault

We touch our phones 2,617 times a day, according to research by Dscout. Why? Because the business model of big consumer tech is built on monetising your attention. The more time you spend staring at your screen, the more money these companies make. Simple.

So why is it so hard to put your phone down?

It’s not a lack of willpower — it’s addiction by design. Social media products are engineered to be addictive. Behind every swipe, like, notification, and endless scroll are thousands of designers and engineers whose job is to keep you engaged. And it works, brilliantly!

What is a Dopamine Feedback Loop?

dopamine feedback loop occurs when an action (like scrolling) leads to a small reward (an alert, new message, or new content), which triggers dopamine release. This makes you feel good and motivates you to repeat the behavior. Over time, this loop reinforces the habit, even if the rewards are unpredictable or minimal.

Thriving or just surviving?

Emerging research highlights a growing barrier to well-being that we all feel: screen addiction.

The constant lure of digital devices may undermine our capacity to be present, imaginative, and connected—core ingredients for a thriving life.

Thriving is more than just getting by.
It’s a state of growth, success, and purpose—where well-being is nurtured across both personal and professional life.

Where do you sit on the thriving v surviving continuum?

What habits, mindsets, and environmental factors enable someone to truly thrive? And more importantly, how can they be consciously cultivated?
